Bob grew up in Bishop, CA, very close to Yosemite National Park! As a young lad, he attended the University of Redlands and completed there a Bachelor degree in Government; GO BULLDOGS! Upon completion of his Bachelor degree he moved to New York to study at the University of Syracuse and completed there his Masters degree in Public Administration; GO ORANGE! He moved right afterwards to work for the government in Washington, DC; where he remained until he recently moved back to beautiful SoCal! Bob’s day job is working for Cal State University, San Bernardino, but he’s always aspired to becoming a Youth Director. He is also a clergy spouse (married to Karen) and has been active in youth ministry leadership for over 25 years as both a paid staff and layperson.  Bob has led youth mission teams from five different United Methodist Churches over the years, to North Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana, Virginia, Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.  After traveling with our youth to Mexico,  and sleeping (and maybe snoring?) on the floor in the same room as “rumyf” members Mante, Devon and Cody, he feels very welcome as a youth leader at First Church! Bob is also actively involved in the NFL pro-football league. As a player, he consistently demonstrates outstanding athleticism and keen game plan discernment. It is then no wonder that Bob is the reigning champion of the Gardner Fantasy Football League… GO REDSKINS!!!
